Let me explain.

I was getting rid of my old toybox, and looking through it. I came across a watch. A clear wristed green watch, the main part was gold-ish, with the Green Ranger in the center. It was mint, MINT! It hit me with a brick of nostalgia. I wanted to check on my old buddies the Power Rangers. Then I came across a pic of these awesome looking Power Rangers, they weren't even good guys, they were badguys, called Psycho Rangers. Check 'em out.

Anyway. I got batteries for my watch, and I'm wearing it like its a pacemaker.

And so on. I was throwing ideas around with some buddies, ("Voltron", "Doom", and Dane(have you checked out Dane's stuff? If not, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!)) and trying to toy with some ideas for a comic. I wanted to do what I thought was the impossible:

Make the Power Rangers cool.

This wasn't going to be an easy task (if I continue) and I think by the looks of the cover, I've started something that may pan out.

Now do you wanna know the story? Ok, ok, I'll tell.

The Main character, Mason, is one of a few escapees from the holocaust-esque, monster ridden Earth. Monsters have taken over, forcing humans into camps, and death camps. In Mason's venture, he comes across a stone ruin. And to those of you who remember Power Rangers, it will look familiar....The Command Center. Mason enters, seeking refuge, and the inside of the center is in ruins. He comes across a pile of rubble, sticking out of it is a hand.....Alpha 7 , the newest, and only surviving model of Alpha models. Alpha tells the story about what happened:

-the monsters took over
-One assassin went on a killing spree of current and former rangers.
-All of the rangers are dead. Jason, Tommy, Zach, Kimberly, etc.
-All the morphers were destroyed by the assassin, the leader of the monsters (pssst.....It's Goldaar.)
-One of the Assassin's soldiers, the highest ranking one, is none other than the Green Ranger, and the mystery is who's the person inside the suit....

And so, before Alpha 7's system shuts down, he gives Mason the last hope for humanity: The last remaining morpher.

This morpher was found on the corpse of the charred body of the original Red Psycho Ranger.

So Mason goes on a last ditch effort to save humanity. This ain't your average Power Ranger story, this is violent, bloody, riddled with metaphors, fucked up idealogies, and a holocaust against human kind. And Mason isn't your old school ranger. He's more of the -Hardcore-kick-you-when-you're-down kinda guy.
